Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Welcome to AeroCogni (“we”, “us”, or “the Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use our website (aerocogni.com) and related mobile apps.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the AeroCogni website, browser-based training experience, and official mobile apps delivered through Capacitor or similar wrappers.

AeroCogni is a cognitive and hand-eye coordination practice platform for entertainment and personal skill practice only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, an official exam, or a career suitability assessment.

2. Information we collect

Account and identity: When you sign in with Google, Apple, email and password, or another Firebase Authentication method, we may receive a user ID (UID), email address, display name, and photo URL.

Profile and settings: Your public display name, avatar customization (stored mainly on device), and preferences such as sound effects and auto-fullscreen on game start.

Training and usage data: Subject, session ID, score summaries, performance metrics, difficulty, completion time, and aggregated scores needed for leaderboards.

Membership and payments: Trial and membership status, and payment records (for example trade ID, amount, currency, status, and provider). In the iOS app, subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store / StoreKit and may be validated and synced through RevenueCat. Sensitive payment card data is processed by Apple, ECPay, or PayPal; we do not store full card numbers.

Device and purchase identifiers: To complete in-app purchases, restore purchases, and prevent abuse, RevenueCat and Apple may process purchase transaction identifiers, app account tokens, and a device identifier (such as Identifier for Vendor). We do not use this data for advertising retargeting or cross-app tracking.

Technical and log data: For operations and debugging, servers may retain timestamps, error messages, and limited request metadata. We do not collect browsing history for advertising tracking, and we do not sell personal data to data brokers.

3. How we use information

To provide sign-in, personal training history, leaderboards, and membership benefits.

To process trials, subscriptions, access extensions, and payment reconciliation.

To improve reliability, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.

To comply with law or protect rights and safety when necessary.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Retention and security

Account, training, and payment-related data are primarily stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) and hosting environments needed to operate the Service.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Service. After you clear training records or request deletion of account-related data, we will process the request within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law or for dispute resolution.

5. Third-party services

We may use third parties including Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore), Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Apple App Store / StoreKit, RevenueCat, ECPay, PayPal, and hosting or infrastructure providers, each subject to their own privacy policies.

When you sign in or pay through those services, their terms and privacy policies also apply. We share data with them only as needed to provide the Service.

Third parties that receive user data from us must provide the same or equal protection of that data as stated in this Policy and required by the App Store Review Guidelines. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

6. Cookies and local storage

We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to maintain sign-in state and core functionality.

You can limit cookies in your browser settings; disabling some features may affect sign-in or membership status.

7. Leaderboards and public information

If you sign in and complete training, your display name, photo (if any), and scores may appear on leaderboards or related public ranking views.

Please avoid putting personally identifying information in your display name that you do not want to be public.

8. Your rights

After signing in, you may view or update your profile and settings, and clear training records where the Service provides that option.

You can delete your account and related personal data in the app under Profile (or in website settings). Deletion removes your sign-in, display name, training history, and leaderboard scores from the Service. Payment records required by law or for dispute resolution may be retained in de-identified form.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or Apple may continue to charge.

You may also email service@aerocogni.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, you can also manage app access in those account settings.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or a higher age required by local law). If we learn that we collected a child’s personal data without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

10. International transfers

Because we use cloud infrastructure, your data may be processed or stored outside your country or region. We do so only as needed to provide the Service.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, and we may revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide notice in the Service or by other reasonable means.

Continued use of the Service after an update means you are aware of the revised Policy.

12. Contact us
